Last week, our security teams detected a phishing email sent from a ONEMESA email address. This email contained a bid opportunity with links to a fake login page and harmful downloadable files. This incident was part of a chain of phishing scams that have been affecting several vendors and customers.
If you ever have a question regarding an email received from an external OR internal contact, please reach out and verify it.
Best Practices:
- Remain cautious when opening emails and verify authenticity before clicking any links.
- When verifying a suspicious email, get contact information of the sender from outside sources like Google or Salesforce rather than the email itself.
- Use authenticator apps and consider changing your passwords every 3 months to ensure internal security

Check with our IT Team if you have any concerns about a message received!
Avoiding scams can be challenging and time consuming. While it’s natural to prioritize quick responses and order processing in a customer service mindset, it’s crucial to consistently take a moment, verify all information and contribute to keeping ONEMESA secure. Thanks for all you do!
