Reminder on Security Deposit Interest

Under Measure H, Pasadena's housing providers are required to pay interest on security deposits to their tenants. The rate of interest issued by the Pasadena Rental Housing Board is 0.41%. Interest on security deposits held in 2024 is due by Jan 31, 2025. Be aware that this can only be paid by check or as a rent credit. Electronic payments are not allowed.
