Introducing SecuritySPSM: A New Single Premium Whole Life Insurance Policy

Security Mutual Life is pleased to announce the launch of SecuritySPSM, a participating, simplified issue, single premium whole life insurance policy designed to provide death-benefit focused coverage with the added flexibility of optional living benefit riders for chronic, critical, and terminal illness. A one-year return of premium feature is included, adding flexibility to the planning process.

Introducing Security IllustratorSM—A New Illustration Platform

Security Mutual Life is excited to announce the launch of Security IllustratorSM, a new, robust and efficient illustration platform that makes illustrating Security Mutual Life products, particularly complex whole life insurance illustration solves, much easier and faster. For example, users will now have the ability to select specific Combo Rider blends that will automatically generate results. No more “hunting and pecking” to get the needed results. For users that prefer to continue to use WinFlex Web, it will remain available with its current interface and functionality.

Introducing e-Delivery

Security Mutual Life is excited to announce the launch of e-Delivery for contracts issued through the Traditional Life & Annuity distribution channel. Products available for e-Delivery include whole life insurance and term life insurance, with annuities forthcoming. The e-Delivery process is available only when using the FireLight® e-application process. E-Delivery is available in all jurisdictions except California and Kentucky.

Episode 382 - Social Security and Divorce

Divorced spouses may be caught unaware that they could be eligible for a Social Security benefit based on their ex’s work history. The rules are complicated, but if you’re in that situation, there may be a pleasant surprise waiting for you: collecting a Social Security benefit you didn’t even know existed.
