For the remainder of this week the Sedgwick County Health Department is vaccinating anyone who qualifies for the vaccine in Phases 1 - 4. Appointments are required to receive the vaccine.

Phase 4 includes: people aged 16 to 64 with other medical risks (asthma, cystic fibrosis, liver disease, immunocompromised state, neurologic conditions such as dementia, Type 1 diabetes mellitus, obesity and severe obesity).

Phase 3 includes: people aged 16 to 64 with severe medical risks (cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, Down Syndrome, heart conditions, Type 2 diabetes mellitus, sickle cell disease), utility workers, logistics workers, water/ wastewater workers, construction workers, finance, IT and communications workers.

Phase 2 includes: K-12 school personnel, veterinarians, public safety, licensed childcare facilities, meat processing plants, aviation manufacturing, public transportation, licensed congregate settings, USPS, DMV, clergy/ religious officials, private packaging + postal delivery, grocery stores + food services, high contact agriculture, high contact retail sales, high contact warehouse and sales outlets.

Phase 1 includes: health care associated workers including EMS/ EMT certified people.
