This year, National Public Health Week is recognized April 5-11. Remember to thank a public health worker and the Sedgwick County Health Department for their support during the COVID-19 pandemic and for their work everyday to keep our community healthy and safe.

These public health professionals work to provide access to affordable health care, reduce the spread of infectious diseases and health threats, and educate for a healthier, stronger, and safer community. They play an important role in the public health and well-being of our community.
