WORSHIP
This Sunday, September 25, we begin our first worship theme of the year focusing on rivers and tides. Join us for a month of experiential spirituality, environmental justice, and an animal blessing.
RIVERS & TIDES

COFFEE HOUR UPDATES
We've got three things brewing when it comes to coffee hour this year:

1. BAKERS: Please help us to fill our freezer with treats to be enjoyed during coffee hour! We'd love to get a taste of what you can bake up. Email Nancy Dix at nbellehome@aol.com if you have questions.

Working together, all First Universalist
groups and committees will be  hosting coffee hour. Twice per year, your group will make the coffee, set out the mugs and the treats, and clean up. Look for a poster on coffee hour instructions arriving soon!

3. Our blue mugs are getting spruced up - and changing meanings. Now, if you're a
friendly  member who would enjoy chatting with someone new, you'll take one of the brighter blue mugs so that newcomers can approach you to connect and ask questions. Look for the new mugs at coffee hour this Sunday.
FAITH IN ACTION
Unitarian Universalists are devoted to living an active faith. Change our community, nation, and world by committing to economic, social, and racial justice through your good acts.
( WITH A MESSAGE FROM
REV. JENNIFER)
FROM THE OFFICE
Have you seen the Ushering Calendar this year? It's here, along with a guide on ushering. If you're unavailable for your assigned date, please contact another friendly congregant to switch places with you.
We are thrilled to welcome our new administrative assistant, Gail Mills. Gail represents our first line of welcoming and outreach, both to each other and to the wider world, and may be contacted for general questions about building use, events, nonmember rentals, pledge statements, and assistance with order of worship production.
OFFICE HOURS AND CONTACT INFORMATION

If you are experiencing a crisis, including needing a hospital visit, you may call Rev. Jennifer on her cellphone: 207.356.1467 any time. Please note that Friday and Saturdays are typically her days off - Rev. Jennifer does not check email on these days, but will answer any crisis or emergency calls.
