GRUPO POSADAS and GRUPO XTRA today laid the first stone of Live Aqua Riviera Cancun and Grand Fiesta Americana Riviera Cancun All Inclusive Resort & Spa.

The investment will be 300 million dollars, and the operations of both hotel properties will begin in 2026. With these hotels, 1,052 rooms of Grupo Posadas in the Riviera Maya are added and more than 2 thousand direct jobs will be generated.

Referring to the start of construction of the new Posadas hotels in Quintana Roo, JOSÉ CARLOS AZCÁRRAGA said: "At Posadas we are committed to Quintana Roo and sustainable economic development. The operation will have the highest standards of sustainability by implementing programs to protect the environment and its surroundings."
