Cruisin' Cajun Country to Parade Down Main Street

NEW IBERIA, La. -- In addition to its regular schedule, Cruisin Cajun Country Cruise In will have a parade in downtown New Iberia on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 5 p.m.

Mayor Freddie Decourt will be the Grand Marshal. The route is Main Street to Jefferson Street, right on Jefferson, right on Fulton leading into Bouligny Plaza.

Cruisin' Cajun Country Cruise In is a classic and muscle cars cruise through Iberia, Vermillion, Lafayette and St. Mary Parish from May 18 - 20, 2017. Participants will experience the area's hottest attractions, award-winning Main Street historic district and delicious food, while spectators will enjoy free car shows.

Cruisin' Cajun Country is a non-profit organization that promotes the preservation of classic, muscle, antique and modern sports vehicles, with open membership.

The organization's goals include enjoying and raising awareness of antique vehicles, increasing revenues in the parishes and donating to many charities.
