2025 Water Quality Report Available Online

Your Water Meets All California and Federal Health Standards

The 2025 Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is available online.

MCWD's annual water quality report confirms your drinking water meets all California and Federal health standards. Last year, over 700 tests were performed for over 120 substances to ensure your water remains safe and fully compliant. MCWD's annual water quality report also describes how your drinking water has been:

SERVICE AREA

MCWD currently serves over 38,000 people in the cities of Marina and Seaside, California State University Monterey Bay and the UCSC MBEST Center, the unincorporated East Garrison Area of Monterey County, US Army, and Departments of Defense and Interior.

WATER SUPPLY

The District provides potable groundwater produced from seven wells delivered through a distribution system network of eight storage tanks and nearly 225 miles of water main pipeline.
