COVID Update #23
Lea Filson, Executive Director, See Plymouth
While we travel this historic journey through the pandemic, there is nothing more to do than hang on and follow COVID protocol (hands, distance, mask). At this point, there is truly no reason we should not all be wearing masks if we want to return to work, school, and life. This week there is news of lack of control of the virus across the rest of the country, but for us, the numbers are better than most.

Across the county, traffic is down, business is slow even for those who are opening, but all the seaside locations are busy. Our visitor information centers are reporting mostly MA traffic, mixed in with other New England states. So far there has not been much of an influx of danger states crowding in.

I am happy to report that Conde Nast has named Plymouth as one of the top beaches to visit in New England ! These awards will really help us attract much needed business.

See Plymouth began running ads on WCVB-TV this week and they will continue for six weeks. Remember that you rely on us to make sure we sell our destination and the only way we can do that is to stay top of mind. We have an entire strategy planned around this so even if we lose funding, we will have ads running.
We have really good articles and video to share this week so start scrolling down and look at it all. You will be encouraged by videos of friends and industry partners. You will think hard about doing the right thing when you see some of the COVID information.

Stay strong and stay safe!
