Issue 40 | December 16, 2020
Lea Filson, Executive Director, See Plymouth
The light at the end of the tunnel is here so now we can all be anxious about whether we will get the virus before we get our vaccinations. Ok, stop. Today, I took a deep breath and while getting my office sanitized due to a positive COVID test for a visitor here a few days ago, I started to dream about what I am going to do once we get past this.

Being that I am in the tourism business, it should come as no surprise that I am looking forward to travel. I am sure I’m a lot like you. I don’t want to do anything right now but visit family I haven’t seen in a year. I miss my brother, my mother, and my sister, but I also miss the freedom of jumping in a car or on a plane or train, knowing I can go anywhere at any time. I never in a million years thought that would ever be taken away from me.

Closer to home, I really miss seeing everyone at meetings, social gatherings, entertainment venues, and restaurants. I will be going to all of those places regularly once we get the green light. Those vaccinations could not come soon enough.

Take the time to look at what we have to offer in this update...
