Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic, and has become one of the hottest Latin dances to hit the night club scene. If you have never seen Bachata before, then check out one of our favorite dance companies, Alma Latina, as they perform their Bachata routine.

Think you're too shy? No problem! Come for the lesson and gain confidence to get out on the dance floor. After a few lessons, you may not look like the dancers in the video, but you will have fun and make new friends.
Beginner Lesson 7 pm-8 pm
(No partner or experience necessary)
Basic technique for leading and following, plus a simple Bachata combination.
Practice/Social time 8 pm

Intermediate Lessons: 8:30 pm-9:30 pm
(No partner necessary, must know the basic Bachata steps from beginners series.)
Intermediate technique with a combination.
Open dancing right after the lessons with DJ music.
