Tiny Houses Make a BIG Impact

Nearly all of the tiny houses are occupied at our Lake Union Village thanks to volunteers who helped us expand it.

The Tiny House Villages provide more room for social distancing than traditional shelters.

Listen to  this podcast from KUOW. At 15:40, Mayor Jenny Durkan calls out Tiny House Villages as:

"...probably the most successful shelter we have to get people into long-term housing and it has become some of the most sought after shelter for some people experiencing homelessness..."

Please Join the GiveBIG Campaign

Your donation helps us to respond to the COVID-19 crisis by supporting our Tiny House Villages and Urban Rest Stops. Every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $40,000 thanks to our friends at the Wyncote Foundation NW.

More public bathrooms have reopened in Seattle, but they don't offer showers or laundry services. That's where our Urban Rest Stops come in. Here are some photos from our URS location in Ballard:

Accessible, attractive bathrooms.

Free laundry facilities to wash and dry clothes.

Well-lit and clean restrooms.

All showers are cleaned after each use.
