It's Time to Get Registered!

Bronson Health Foundation's offices are a-buzz with activity as the team prepares for the Bronson Children's Hospital Run and Walk. It's just one month away on Sunday, September 29.

We hope YOU are also getting ready by registering or donating today!

We have a special guest joining us this year - local Olympian Heath Baldwin! Heath was a member of Team USA, competing in the decathlon in Paris. He and his family have a special connection to Bronson Children's Hospital and Heath is eager to join us at the event. (He is pictured above, with Heather Oestrike Schripsema, our director of donor relations.)

Remember, in addition to the 5K and 1-mile run and walk courses, there are also many children's activities, face-painting, caricature artists and more.

Coast-to-Coast Complete!

Hurray for Dr. Mark Atkinson! He just completed an incredible coast-to-coast bike ride in support of Bronson Children's Hospital. The numbers here help tell the story:

• 3,671 miles
• 14 states
• 130,000 feet of climb
• $47,100 raised for the Children's Hospital Fund!

Kalamazoo Community Shows Up for Kids!

We were happy to be in attendance this week as Kalamazoo Community Foundation announced that the Rx Kids program is coming to Kalamazoo. With anchor funding from Stryker Johnston Foundation, we are proud to be among the additional community partners supporting this no-strings attached cash prescription program for expectant mothers and infants. It's set to launch at the start of 2025.

A Glimpse at our NextGen Health Ambassador Program

The first Bronson NextGen Health Ambassador cohort has been busy visiting, learning, and engaging - with a goal of a better understanding of healthcare in our communities. These community leaders have completed sessions related to healthcare finance, leadership, governance, philanthropy and more.

In addition, they've taken tours of Bronson Methodist Hospital's campus, Bronson South Haven, and will head to Bronson Battle Creek next. We are grateful for their interest and eagerness to be involved!
