"I have been working out at WIFC for 4 months, and it has really helped me reach my fitness goals. There is equipment for any muscle I would like to work, and the staff is always friendly and ready to help. I used to go a commercial gym, and I think the difference in amount of equipment, helpfulness of staff, and friendliness of members makes it a great place to be a member of." -Devin Droski

We're happy to provide dozens of state-of-the-art equipment to help you meet your fitness goals! Keep killin' it in the gym, Devin!
8 Simple Summer Fitness Goals

1. Drink more water: It's basically the cure for everything! Treat yourself to a cute reusable water bottle that will help you remember to stay hydrated throughout the day.

2. Earlier bedtime: Even if it is just 30 minutes earlier than you normally go to bed, you might be amazed at how much more refreshed you will feel in the morning.

3. Try a new workout class: Grab a friend and hit a new class and make a day out of it. Grab a smoothie and catch up. Trying new workout classes can be a really fun way to stay active and achieve your fitness goals this summer. Check out our summer classes schedule - there’s something for everyone!!

4. Go for a run outdoors: Running outside is an instant mood booster. If running isn’t your thing, go for a walk! Walker has the most beautiful park behind the WIFC Check out maps of all our City Parks!

5. Eat less sugar and more fruits and veggies: During the summer season, fruits and vegetables are so fresh and delicious. This summer, try to reach for a sweet fruit instead of a sweet treat.

6. Meal prep: A simple way to save money and eat healthier. The internet has loads of simple, healthy meal prep recipes that are perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meal prepping is a great and easy way to hold yourself accountable when it comes to making healthy meal choices.

7. Meditate before bed: It helps to relieve stress from the day and get you into a relaxed state. Enjoy a cup of tea and maybe even a face mask while meditating before bed to help calm and steady your mind.

8. Less screen time: Summer is the perfect opportunity to turn off the screen. Remember, everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes… including YOU!!
