The California Lions Friends in Sight model is a remarkable innovation.
It starts with your club’s eyeglass collection and Lion volunteers sorting and organizing them. On-site computerized matching leads to the dispensing of vision-correcting eyeglasses. Lions volunteers operate automated refractors and tonometers, followed by a doctor’s eye health screening. And then, everyone who needs eyeglasses gets eyeglasses!
