Two Food Distribution Drive-Thru will be held in Tamarac:

Cars should enter heading west on 77th Street into the park.
Friday, May 16, 9 a.m., Waters Edge Park, 7508 NW 61st St.
Cars should enter at the west side park entrance and on University Drive.
Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early to ensure you can take advantage of this community initiative while supplies last.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening filled with live music. | | | | | HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL | On Saturday, May 3, safely dispose of unneeded electronics and household hazardous waste for free. The east gate of the Tamarac Public Services building, 6011 Nob Hill Rd., will be open from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. to accept drop-offs. Proof of residency required (driver’s license or utility bill). | | Join the Tamarac Walking Club, on Wednesday, May 7! Get active, meet new friends and enjoy a free community walk at Mainlands Park, 4500 Monterey Dr. Attendees will meet at the Energy Fitness Station at 6 p.m. No pre-registration required.
