Dear Friends,

Over Christmas and New Year’s, The Care Service was blessed with generous donations from our community. Knowing that we are not alone in our mission renews our hope and gives us the motivation to keep moving forward.

Along with donations, we also received many thank‑you cards from those we serve - people like Kylie, whose story you’ll find below. After escaping domestic violence, Kylie is now living in one of the affordable housing units owned by The Care Service. It is because of support from you that Kylie is safe and stable today.

Thank you for continuing to stand with The Care Service as we begin a new year.

Meet Kylie

Care Service received a $45,318 from United Way

Their ongoing support enables us to provide crucial assistance, resources, and guidance to individuals facing a housing crisis or food insecurity, helping them take their first steps toward a new beginning.

New member at The Care Service team!

We’re excited to welcome Jessica, a Social Work practicum student from the UMSL. As she prepares to enter the social work field after graduation, Jessica will be gaining hands-on experience across different programs at The Care Service.

The Care Service is proud to play a role in supporting the next generation of social workers who will go on to uplift our community.
