Harrier Sundown Celebration | |
The Greater Havelock Area Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Sunrise Run Before the Sundown 5K and All-American Picnic as part of the Harrier Sundown festivities.
The Sunrise Run Before the Sundown 5K brought runners, walkers, families, and supporters together for a fun and energetic start to the day. We were thrilled to see such strong community participation and enthusiasm. Click the link to view and purchase race photos: Havelock Race Day
The celebration continued at the All-American Picnic, where attendees enjoyed delicious food, great company, and outstanding live entertainment. One of the highlights of the day was the spectacular flyover by the Harriers, which served as a powerful reminder of Havelock's proud military heritage and strong connection to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.
Guests were also treated to a special opportunity to meet and interact with Harrier pilots during an exclusive meet-and-greet. Hearing their stories and learning more about the aircraft and the missions they support made for a memorable experience for attendees of all ages.
These events would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, community partners, and attendees. Thank you for helping make these celebrations such a success. We look forward to seeing you at future Chamber events as we continue working together to strengthen and celebrate our community!
