Happy Fall! We are headed into my favorite time of the year when the days are crisp and cool and I can break out the boots and sweaters! I love a visit to the Pine Tree Orchard and a drive up north to see the leaves.
I will even admit to being a pumpkin junkie.

Last month flew by and now we are headed into the fourth quarter. We still have time to reach for new goals and finish 2019 strong. I want all of you to know that I was bragging about our Work Awesome community at the Global Workspace Conference in Washington, D.C. last month. I did not see another workspace who has more committed members and events than OffiCenters (but I might be a little biased). Many of my colleagues follow us on social media and religiously read our newsletter so they're aware of the work we are doing in the Twin Cities. Needless to say, I am so proud of my team and our members.

We are starting the month on Thursday with our Park CONNECT Networking Group. I am making a special point to be with you this month to celebrate our longest running networking event. Check out our new 60 second video tours of the workspaces that were updated by Will last month. And, speaking of Will Yazdani, our Brand Specialist, he is picking up branding and photography work from our members who need some specialized services. You can chat with him at most of our events. He would be happy to give you a quote on specialty services like graphic design, photography and video. There is no need to "find" someone to help make you stand out from the crowd; we can help make YOU unique.

Please join us for an all OffiCenter HallowWine Happy Hour Networking event. We are replacing our Wine Time and Thirsty Thursday events with a Happy Hour themed networking every other month. This new group will showcase our newest members and everyone will have a chance to meet, greet and network. The event will rotate to different centers so we can showcase each community workspace. We are trying to make better opportunities for everyone to meet and learn more about one another's businesses. I hope to see you in the workspaces.

The Minnesota Twins are the American League Central champions for the first time since 2010 and the entire state is a buzz! The hometown #BombaSquad broke numerous records this year, including the single season home-run total at 307 and now look to take some of that magic into their first playoff match-up against the Yankees. The series comes to Target Field for Game 3 on Monday, October 7, and it's not too late to get tickets or the 2019 edition of the iconic Homer Hanky! Join us in cheering for our North Loop Neighbors and have your rally squirrels ready!

The Randy Shaver Cancer Research & Community Fund needs our help and it's so easy to get involved! Bring in a new or gently used basket that can be used to package fundraiser prizes for their annual gala. Their ideal donation would be a medium to large basket, with or without a handle. Every OffiCenter location will have a drop box that will be collected at the end of the month! Let's show the power of OneCommunity in Action!

Justice4Katie joins the largest parade in MN on October 26 with their first float in the Anoka Halloween Grande Day Parade! Their mission is to provide awareness and education to the public and our youth about the importance of safe and undistracted driving. The parade runs from 1-3:30PM and celebrates 99 years of Anoka being the Halloween capital of the world! Learn more or get involved HERE.
