Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I can't believe summer is almost over! Were you able to cross everything off your Summer To-Do list? It seems like time always goes by so fast during this season that we forget certain things.

With that being said, many homeowners get so caught with events and activities during summer that they forget to start that home project they wanted. Don't be too hesitant to renovate before the cold sets in, the end of summer is the perfect time to get it done! The Residential Remodeling Index recorded its 5 -year growth climb, reaching a new high of 107.3 and looks set to keep rising through 2020.

Replacing the Garage Door ranks in the top as remodeling projects that will get the client's home the biggest ROI at resale, at about 92%. Replacement of the garage door adds insulation for the cold winter nights to save you money on energy bills. Other popular end of the summer projects include upgrades to outdoors spaces. Clients can easily improve their home's value by adding emerald grass, hiring professional landscaping, or winding walkways.

Whether you want to squeeze in that end of the summer home project, or just get a head start for the fall, we're here for you. Let us know if we can help you with any projects that you may have!

7 Ways to Make a Statement in Your Dining Room
(Francesco Lagnese)

Window Treatments: The pattern on your curtain fabric can pick up the colors of your walls, chairs, or lighting pendant in your dining room.

Install Incredible Lighting: check out how this chandelier stands out on this dining porch.

Don't Forget to Look Up: to make the Tony Duquette chandelier feel ore at home, Ruthie Sommers had an elaborate tree design painted in gold leaf on the dining room ceiling.

Include Pops of Color: Brighten your dining room with pops of color like lemon-yellow, gray owl, or oriole.

Go Bold on the Floors: See how Jonathan Adler pairs Warren Platner's 1966 dining table with his own Chinese Chippendale chairs in the dining room of this Westchester house .

Try a Colorful Table: Bright colored walls and an even brighter table can bring a white and gray kitchen to life.

Apply Pretty Wallpaper: Mary McGee designed a bold lacquered table with contemporary chairs to contrast with her delicate hand painted Chinese wallpaper .
