Minister Íñigo de la Serna Hernáiz
Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Spain

Íñigo de la Serna Hernáiz is Spain’s Minister of Public Works and Transport. Minister de la Serna Hernáiz entered the government in 1999 when he was appointed cabinet director of the counselor of Medio Am of the Government of Cantabria, a position he held until 2003. From 2003- 2007, he was councilman of environment, water, and beaches for the Santander City Council. He then became mayor of Santander in 2007 and was re-elected in 2011 and 2015. He served as regional deputy during his first and third terms. Minister de la Serna was president of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) from July 2012 until September 2015, and later served as Vice President. In addition, he was in charge of the Spanish Network of Intelligent Cities (RECI) since its founding in 2012 until May 2016. He has also held the presidency of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR).
Jane's ATC Awards 2018
Tuesday, 6 March: 15.00
For the second year, the Jane's ATC Awards will take place at World ATM Congress. The awards honor excellence in all areas of the global ATC industry, from national air navigation service providers to large-scale industry partnerships to new entrants to the sector. The programme takes place at 15.00 in the Conference Theatre. It is open to all registered World ATM Congress participants.
