It’s been a sweet summer investing in our community garden. Our program director, Jeremy Clark, has gone above and beyond in creating this amazing program giving students the opportunity to connect and learn over summer break. From harvesting peppers, tomatoes, and zucchinis, to learning how to build a composting bin at home, the experiences have been both educational and rewarding. We're thrilled to announce some fantastic news – we've been awarded the 21st Century Grant from OSPI, in direct partnership with the West Valley School District and Communities In Schools! This transformative 5-year grant is set to play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of our programs and further fueling our mission within this community.
