We had an amazing time partnering with Mountain Magic Trail Run for a fun family event on Mount Spokane. Our monthly Millwood Meal was amazing thanks to our sponsor City On Hill Church. From an assortment of amazing food to a list of desserts that made you crave more, we are thankful for the intentionality in creating such an amazing meal. It’s been an awesome experience giving STAR Club students an opportunity to learn from master composter Kris Major from the energy and waste department. Students have not only learned about composting basics but are actively collecting items to fuel our growing composting bin. Gardening has been a space to also care for the Millwood Impact plots and harvest the vegetables of the seeds that were planted weeks ago.

Throughout June, we visited STAR Club students during their school lunch. It was an opportunity for our staff and volunteers to stay connected and help students navigate the end of school and start off summer break. We are thankful to have an amazing partnership with Orchard Center and Ness elementary in helping us connect with STAR Clubs students.
