At Complete Auto Repair, we repair DIY jobs. While it can be simple to remove one part and install something new, a comprehensive knowledge of combustion engines is needed for most customizations. Buying a big exhaust pipe without adjusting the engine’s air flow creates an airflow imbalance that will require repairs in the future. Before you damage your car’s engine (and your checkbook), call Ron Morgan for a consultation at 941-623-2926.

Employees are looking at new careers. As an employer, are you open to hiring from other industries? Don’t let your paradigms of experience, tenure, or any other factor keep you from finding the best employee. Today, they may not come in the same way your other employees did, so talk with Patti Guerzo, of Guerzo Business Consulting, to identify the core skills for your next hire. She will write an ad to attract your ideal candidate and screen the candidates and identify the most promising saving you time and aggravation. Contact Patti at [email protected] to discuss your hiring needs.
Sue Craig, of Independent Financial Coaching, has seen an increase in negative entries on credit reports. If someone used a credit repair service to falsely dispute charges, that entry may have disappeared during the investigation period, and bumped up their credit score. That debt will post as a new delinquency after it is found to be legitimate. The borrower requires a permanent plan to raise that credit score again. If that sounds like someone you know, please refer them to Sue at 941-916-5324.
Always get signed authorizations from job applicants before checking their references. The reference will often request a copy. And, you might also consider adding a statement to the authorization that the applicant releases the reference from liability for any information provided and agrees the information will remain confidential and not be shared with the applicant. Without such assurances, employers and references are often reluctant to provide more than position held and dates of employment. For FCRA-compliant employment and tenancy screening, contact Doris Hebert-Ferrigno at NRG Background Checks. 941-488-8500; 800-531-6522; [email protected]

While my third-grade class was completing a writing exercise, one of the students asked me how to spell "piranha."
I told him I was unsure. To my delight, he went to the dictionary to solve his problem.
That's when I overheard another pupil say to him, "Why bother to look it up? She doesn't know how to spell it anyway."
