The Regional Family Support Planning Councils (RFSPCs)

RFSPCs serve as a vital platform for families to voice their needs and advocate for better support services. Established under the 1993 Family Support Act, these councils work closely with key state departments, including the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and the Division of Children’s System of Care (CSOC).

  • Advocacy and Evaluation: Members monitor service delivery and provide recommendations to policymakers.

  • Information Sharing: Stay informed about current issues and support options.

  • Community Engagement: Advocate for family needs at both local and state levels.

Empowering Through the Person-Centered Planning Tool (PCPT)

The Person-Centered Planning Tool (PCPT) is designed to ensure that the services and supports provided are tailored to each individual's unique goals, preferences, and needs.

  • Individualized Planning: Focus on what is important to you.

  • Active Participation: Engage individuals and their families in the planning process.

  • Quality of Life Enhancement: Services aligned with personal aspirations and delivered in community-based settings.
