CRCC Snow Day Policy
Winter weather is coming soon, whether we're ready for it or not. Please read below for our most up-to-date CRCC winter weather closure policy.

If OPS is closed, but CRCC is open due to inclement weather, CRCC’s Northwest and Southwest centers will be open at 8 a.m. Families will be notified via LifeLoop and CRCC’s voicemail will also be updated. In the event Omaha Public Schools announces a late start, CRCC will open at the center’s usual time.

Parents whose children do not maintain full-time hours throughout the week will need to make a reservation via email or phone requesting care for the day, this includes school age clients. Clients who attend before- and after-school regularly will receive priority over breaks and holiday clients.

Of the families who call and leave messages, the first 15 regularly attending clients will be given spots. If there are additional families looking for care, spots will be granted based upon additional staff availability.

The Administrative Assistants will begin returning phone calls to parents to confirm/deny reservations by 7:30 a.m. Reservations will be based on capacity and staffing. Reservations will be granted on a first come first serve basis.

If it is determined that the weather is severe enough to close both CRCC centers for the day, CRCC’s voicemail will be updated first. Closure will be published on social media channels, local news and website. Parents will be notified by email and LifeLoop as well. All communications will be sent out by 5 a.m.
We're now participating in the Baker's Community Rewards Program
The Baker’s Community Rewards program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Baker’s and swipe your Shopper’s Card. Click the button below to see how it works!

With the holidays coming up, you and any of your friends and family can earn money for CRCC just by grocery shopping. Have those you know sign up if they frequent: Baker’s, Kroger, Dillons or Gerber.
