“Lawson is the happiest, most courageous, funniest and most well-adjusted kid I know. CRCC has helped him to become confident in who he is, even if he is different; it doesn’t matter to anyone there. I see that every day when I drop him off. He has a fan club and I know he is so very loved.” — Lawson’s Mom
Initially, when Lawson’s parents’ found out about his diagnosis, they were told he would have little to no quality of life. He may never walk, talk, show feelings, or be toilet trained. They started researching his diagnosis and places in Omaha that could care for their son— that’s when they found CRCC. “Bringing your kids to daycare gives every parent an overabundance of feelings, throw special needs into that mix and those feelings quadrupled. I know that he is safe at CRCC and his caregivers are well equipped to handle any challenges his diagnosis might bring.” Lawson’s family feels relief knowing that when he is at CRCC, he’s at the best place for him and they have confidence in that.
At CRCC, our services give all children the opportunity to find security, support and mutual understanding. Connected to our mission and each other, our staff and the families we serve are proving what’s possible in all that they do. Hearing stories from families about the growth they see in their children from the services they receive at CRCC is one of the many great joys of being a part of the mission of CRCC.
