The Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce was excited to begin a new journey as a business association. After months of redirecting our focus and planning new business programming, we introduced the following programs! 

  • Legislative Briefing
  • A.M. Live
  • Women’s Business Breakfast
  • Building Business Blocks Series – Hospitality/Customer Service Training

Getting Into the Weeds
The Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce Legislative Affairs Committee, held its first Legislative Briefing “Getting Into the Weeds-Medical Marijuana in the Workplace!” It was a success! Thank you  GableGotwals  for coming to our community to present! It proved to be a very informative presentation! Thank you  Indian Capital Technology Center  for hosting!

The Legislative Affairs Committee will be hosting different Legislative Seminars and Town Halls throughout the year on different topics.
Women In Business Breakfast
The Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce Membership Development Committee, held its Quarterly Women In Business Breakfast! It was a success! Thank you Krista Wheeler with  Two Rivers Academy  for presenting a very informative presentation! Thank you  Mark Hodson - State Farm Agent  for sponsoring the event! And Thank You to the  Tahlequah Armory Municipal Building  for hosting!

The next Women In Business Breakfast is scheduled for December 12th at 7:45 a.m. We will be announcing more information when we have it!
A.M. Live
Thank you to  CENTURY 21 Wright Real Estate  for hosting the very first A.M. Live!
Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce has started introducing new programs to benefit local area Chamber Members!
A.M. Live is a monthly networking event that will take place on the 2nd Friday of every month at alternating locations around town!

The next A.M. Live will take place at  First State Bank of Tahlequah  on October 12th!
Building Blocks of Business
TourTahlequah and the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce are beyond excited to offer Building Blocks of Business, 2 hospitality seminars that will focus on equipping local businesses within the community knowledge of how to sell Tahlequah to visitors!

Leadership Class 19
Congratulations  Tahlequah Leadership Class 19  on the Ribbon Cutting and Official Grand Opening of the All-Inclusive Park Located in Anthis-Brennan Sports Complex! It is such an amazing addition to our community!
Leadership Class 21
Congratulations Tahlequah Leadership Class 21 on the completion of their class project! They sought out a need in the community and were able to fulfill it by donating over $5,000 in cash donations and supplies to all Cherokee County Schools!

Congratulations to  Tahlequah Public Works Authority  on the grand opening of their new office building located at 710 W. Choctaw St., Tahlequah! It is a beautiful facility and a wonderful addition to our community!
