Oyster Bash 2020
|
|
The 9th Annual Oyster Bash is a fundraiser for The Man in the Sea Museum. Oysters, craft beer, music and more from 1 pm - 5 pm located at Dive Lab, Inc. The annual Oyster Bash is a locals’ favorite. All you can eat Gulf fresh oysters, low country boil full of Gulf fresh shrimp and craft beer.

2020 Sports/Special Events Workshop

Network with large, local community events hosted in Bay County. The 2020 Sports/Special Events Workshop brings networking and business relationship between event-right-holders and local business interests. At the workshop, over $100 million of economic impact to the destination will be there to meet with local businesses in hopes of securing relationships that are mutually beneficial for both parties. The 2020 Sports/Special Events Workshop will take place on Wednesday, January 29th at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort from 10 am - 12 pm. Senior Helpers - Dementia Wellness Expo

The 1st Annual Dementia Wellness Expo will take place February 4th from 7:30 am - 12 pm at the Woodlawn UMC. There will be a Virtual Dementia Tour, Scent Kits, Lifesaver Program and Senior Helpers Senior Gems Program plus more.
Keynote speaker will be Dr. Miller, Medical Director, Memory Disorders Clinic, TMH.

Food Truck Festivals of America is bringing the 3rd Annual Panama City Beach Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival back to Aaron Bessant Park, February 15th & 16th. This festival will be a weekend of craft beer, great food, lawn games, music and fun for the whole family. In conjunction with the Krewe of Domonique Youx’s great Mardi Gras at the Beach Parade, this annual festival takes place the weekend before Fat Tuesday. Thrivent Financial Strides for Scholars

The Bay Education Foundation will host Strides for Scholars, a 5k run/walk on February 29th at 8 am starting at the walking park on 11th Street and Balboa Avenue in Panama City. Entry fee is $25 for runners and $15 for walkers. Brunch and awards will take place immediately following the event at

. Preregistration and race packet pickup will be on on Friday, February 28th from 3 pm - 5 pm at 1311 Balboa Avenue. Register by February 14th to receive an awesome customized, one-of-a-kind long sleeved t-shirt and goody bag! All proceeds will benefit the Foundation's Take Stock In Children Scholarship Program.
