President's Message
Check out the video below to hear an update from Peoria Public Schools Foundation President Cindy Morris.
Our 23rd Annual Golf Outing on July 20

We are happy to report that we now have the maximum number of golf teams allowed for our upcoming golf outing on July 20th. Not golfing this year? You can still show your support for our largest fundraiser by purchasing a curbside dinner pickup (either a fried chicken or grilled steak sandwich - the same meal the golfers will receive!) or a raffle ticket to win a yeti cooler full of beer, a wagon of wine, or a golf day at the Country Club of Peoria with a brand new golf club .

Click HERE, or the picture below, for more details on purchasing a curbside dinner or raffle ticket. All proceeds benefit Peoria Public School students, staff and families!
Our Support for PPS Students and Families
Our mission at the PPS Foundation is to provide as much support as we can to PPS students and families. During this unprecedented time, this support is more important than ever. We are so grateful for the many individual donors who have provided funds, clothing, food and whatever else has been needed. Because of you all, we have been able to help many PPS families.

In addition to individual donors, we have received generous grant funds from the Gilmore Foundation, the Community Foundation of Illinois, Illinois American Water, the Junior League of Peoria, and the Rotary Club of Peoria and Peoria North.

Please CLICK HERE for more details on how we have provided support for PPS since March. We appreciate you all so much!

Also, check out this Peoria Journal Star article to find out more information on the grant we received from the Gilmore Foundation.
Check Out Buzz Chats, a PPS Foundation Video Series!
Each week we will be connecting with different members of our community to talk about our public schools and how they interact with current events in Peoria.

Recently, we caught up with outgoing PPS Board of Education President Dan Adler and PPS parent Andre Allen. Check out the videos below to hear the discussion with Dan and Andre.

Future broadcasts can be found on our Facebook page each Thursday at 6:30 PM. Upcoming chats will include Peoria High Principal Dr. Annette Coleman and Richwoods teacher Joe Baumgardner.

SHERO of the Month:
Hy-Vee on Sheridan's Store Director, Elise Scheil
Congratulations to our July PPS Foundation SHERO of the Month Elise Sheil! Elise is the store director for Hy-Vee on Sheridan and is such a delight to work with. Since COVID hit, she has been an integral part of our Little Free Pantry program and pivotal in the food distribution set up. She has gone above and beyond to partner Hy-Vee with Peoria Public Schools and to make sure that healthy and wanted food options are available for our families and students. Hy-Vee has been organizing many weekly deliveries to many different locations, and Elise has stepped up to this big challenge.

Thank you to both Hy-Vee and Elise for the dedication and support. Elise, you are truly a real life shero. We are so appreciative of all that you do!
