OUR ANNUAL FESTIVAL IS COMING

MAY 30,2026 9:00-12:00


Right now, we are preparing for the summer months. May 30,2026 find the COC entering its 3rd Annual Festival! We have over 30 volunteers to help with the morning activities. This is an opportunity for our clients to bring their families for a morning of family fun and entertainment at no cost to them.


Games, food, and prizes for our clients are given free of charge and given in Jesus' name. Families can earn tickets to win prizes especially selected for them. Lunch includes hotdogs, chips and a drink.


We have several featured guests. Music and annoucements will be provided by D.J. Neil Carlsburg. Ricky Johnson of Kingdom Cuts will be there to give free haircuts. Plus the star of the morning will be Mel LaMar and Hezekiah (his puppet) providing a magic show with the plan of salvation, given in English and Spanish.


The Festival is from 9:00-12:00. We would be greatful for your financial conributions to help pay for the cost of prizes, a security officer, food, and our special guests. by Janet Sleichter

What do we teach our children to do when they receive a gift? How do we teach them to give? We teach by example, just as Christ taught us, to say "Thank you". Our Children are watching us and they are learniing to give. They are listening as we say Thank You to the Father for the gift of a home, our clothes, food and family.


We at the COC say "Thank you" to the Families that give to us. Hear our grateful hearts. Thank you for sharing what you have so we can give to other Families that are without. In the summer, you can help to provide some supplies specirfic to the season. Those may include but not be limited to:
  • sunscreen
  • bug spray
  • laundry detergent
  • children's clothing
  • men's clothing
  • snack foods/ boxed juices
  • outdoor games/equipment
  • bed and bath linens
  • footwear
  • dishes, water bottles, glasses

Donate Smart


By pre-sorting donations, you can help the center reduce waste, allocate resources more efficiently, and focus on providing vital services to those in need. This simple step can make a substantial difference in the lives of community members, enabling the center to respond more effectively to their needs. The center's staff and volunteers appreciate the efforts of donors who take the time to pre-sort their donations, as it allows them to work more efficiently and effectively. Help us give a bag of dignity to our guests.
