A Message from our President
Spring is here! At least it feels that way most days and that means we are going in the right direction. We have lots of great news and events to share with you so let’s jump right in.
First off, a HUGE thank you to Dave Bryan of Blackdog Builders and all 6 of the Nashua Home Design Center businesses who played host to our St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on March 13th at the Center. Great food, great networking, great prizes, and maybe even some green beer was enjoyed by all. This is a wonderful place, so if you missed it, pop in to check it out. It’s a great resource featuring residential design professionals with years of experience and they have thousands of products on display for your next project.
And we have more “March Madness” on the way. I’m not talking about your Final Four, but the ever-popular Beers with Builders series is making a comeback with two great events for us in March. First up is Beers with Builders at Stark Brewing in Manchester on March 21st. And the next week on the 26th, we’ll have another Beers with Builders event at the Pella Windows and Doors Showroom in Meredith. Check out the State’s calendar online, or scan the QR code from the nice postcards that got sent out to us. Both will be great events.
On April 3rd, we will be hosting a workshop for our Builder Members with Bruce Bennett-GDS Associates. He will be discussing Ventilation-Air Sealing-Energy Code. Thank you to our great partners at Cohen Title and Closing for use of their wonderful Community Meeting Room at their Bedford facility. This allows not only a close proximity for everyone plus it helps us to keep the costs of such an important meeting down. Thanks, Cohen Title!
And it wouldn’t be Spring without a little bit of Golf!! My favorite four letter word. Reminds me of the old Robin Williams skit on golf. You Tube it. We will have our Spring Golf Tournament this year at Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield on May 21st. It’s a morning shotgun start. What more can I say? This is just an awesome day on the links. The Golf Committee is hard at working recruiting you and me to play and sponsor! I hope you’ll mark the day off on your calendar and come enjoy some great golf and fellowship at a beautiful golf course.
