A Message From Patty Houpt
Executive Director of NEEBC
|
I hope you had a great summer and time to relax before gearing up for fall!
Besides refreshingly chilly nights and shorter days, I equate fall with
back-to-school, as well as,
elections,
open enrollment and, because NEEBC’s Annual Best Practices Conference was founded in the fall of 1998,
anniversaries too!
Back-to-School
At NEEBC, our main goal is to educate our members and other benefits professionals on all aspects of employee benefits
– in a sense, to keep them going “
back to school.” We have a great line-up of programming this fall.
Mid-term Elections
The mid-term elections are imminent, and their results will impact employee benefits. Our Annual Washington Update,
Bringing Washington to Boston, is September 28
th.
Washington Insiders will discuss the latest regulatory and legislative updates, as well as their outlook on the mid-term elections.
This is one of our most popular, highly rated events and shouldn't be missed, especially this year!
Open Enrollment
For many, open enrollment and annual planning and budgeting occur in the fall. Many of our programs, including
Technology in Action, are intended to rejuvenate you with innovation and assist you in planning for 2019 and beyond.
20
th
Anniversary of the Best Practices Conference
is December 11. The theme is
Celebrating 20 Years of Innovation.
Scheduled after open enrollment season, this is an opportune time to be inspired, reconnect with fellow benefits professionals and, this year
, celebrate 20 years of innovation!
We invite you to attend the 20th Anniversary of the Best Practices Conference and help us:
- Celebrate 20 years of innovation;
- Honor the region's latest Best Benefit Practices with our coveted Best Practices Awards;
- Recognize new benefit professionals who have demonstrated exceptional promise, dedication and accomplishment with our Rising Star Awards; and
- Learn about some of the hottest topics in employee benefits, which may yield future best practices!
To make the conference a success, we also need your nominations!
Join NEEBC and the benefits community as we rejuvenate and celebrate innovation!
Best Regards,
Patty Houpt
