What are You Waiting For?

Malachi 3:1, 4:5; Luke 1:1-25

God does some of his best work in us while we wait. Throughout the Old Testament, the people of God are waiting for Messiah to come; the one they believed would restore Israel’s fortunes, deliver them from their enemies & bring God’s salvation in ways that would bless the entire world. We will look at the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth, and what God did in their lives as they waited for their son John to be born. What we will learn is waiting isn’t a sign of God’s absence, but an assurance of His presence.

Holiday Baskets

Help a family in need this holiday season! This year we have a record breaking amount of requests with 300 local families needing help. Pick up a bag and grocery list at a table on the patio. Fill it up and return to the Church Office before Dec 11 for Christmas.

The Chapel Choir and instrumentalists will present Run, You Shepherds, to the Light, a Christmas Cantata by Michael Haydn featuring Emily Kingsley, soprano soloist, and the High School/Young Adult choir.

Beneath a Shining Star, the Christmas story told by the K-8th grade choirs and bells. A cookie reception follows. Childcare for children ages 5 and under. No tickets needed. Voluntary offering.
