All Things Important Monthly Newsletter September 2026

Welcome Back!

This Wednesday Sept 9th at 7pm we will be joined at the Lawrence Barn by Katie Henderson who will instruct us on the art of ZENTANGLE. She is a Certified Zentangle Teacher who will guide us through the official Zentangle Method, consisting of eight simple, mindful steps that guide you from a blank paper tile to a finished piece of structured art.

Katie Henderson grew up in NY & going to Dartmouth brought her to NH.

Though she has an appreciation for music, Katie never felt like she had an artistic leaning.

Katie taught social studies at HBHS and left to be a stay at home mom.

Katie took a Zentangle workshop in Milford and was hooked –

enough to further her Zentangle skills and get a CZT – Certified Zentangle Teacher qualification!

Katie is pleased to say she has found her artistic outlet! In addition to creating artwork, cards etc.,

Katie is available for classes, private lessons & parties.

Open Board Positions for 2026-27

Presenter Liason - We are in need of someone who can coordinate our monthly artist presentations. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who likes networking and event planning (it's also a good way to have a say in what HAS members get to learn about). This role involves seeking local artists who would be willing to come present, gathering their bio and short description of what they plan to present on, meeting them at the Barn around 6pm and to unlock the door and assist in helping them set up. Please reply to this newsletter for further details.

Have you checked our Facebook page lately? There is a wealth of information on there about local classes, exhibits, calls to artists, etc. If you are looking for a source for local art happenings look no further...
