On Sunday, Pavilions will open their doors to visitors for the first time since 2019 in celebration of culture and diversity - marking the 51st edition of the Folklorama Festival!

We are beyond excited to explore all 24 Pavilions with you. The Pavilions are hosted by dedicated and passionate volunteers who are looking forward to an incredible 2 weeks with you! Which Pavilion are you heading to first?
Folklorama Tales
Helping to Create Connection
In 2019, a program was put in place to help immigrants and refugees get to know our Folklorama family. Manitoba Hydro was the first to raise its hand and be involved. With the assistance of the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba and N.E.E.D.S., Manitoba Hydro - Folklorama Newcomer Welcome Initiative provides newcomers to Manitoba with passes to attend Folklorama events... Representing Culture & Community During Folklorama
Each year at Pavilions, two adult and two youth ambassadors are chosen to represent their culture and community during Folklorama. They welcome guests to their Pavilion, share knowledge and stories, and travel from Pavilion to Pavilion to learn about other cultures. Outside of the Festival, ambassadors do great work in the community volunteering at many different charities... (Keep reading)

What to Know Before You Go
All 9:45 p.m. shows on Monday & Tuesday (week one & week 2) are only $1.00 admission! Thanks to funding from the Manitoba Government.
Arrive early to get the most out of each Pavilion! Every year, Pavilion volunteers work tirelessly to bring you their Pavilion cultural display and marketplace, delicious food and beverage, and world-class entertainment. Arrive early so that you can find parking, have enough time to sample everything they have to offer, and find a seat.
Use the Travel Guide map to help plan your Pavilion-hopping schedule. Cluster your Pavilion visits based on proximity so you can save time and visit multiple Pavilions in one night!
Have your tickets ready! Bring your mobile device with your digital tickets on it, or print your tickets in advance and bring them with you. If you haven't bought tickets online in advance, Pavilions are selling tickets at the door as available.
Not all Pavilions allow videos and photos, so please check first! If the Pavilion allows, take photo and video and share them on social media using the hashtags #MyFolklorama and #Folklorama51. Tag @Folklorama on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
Only certain Pavilions take dinner reservations. This is a great way to ensure your entire group can sit and enjoy a tasty meal together. Flip through the Travel Guide to find out which ones offer reservations.
Visit an ATM before you head to Pavilions or bring cash with you. Not all Pavilions accept interac and credit cards, so come prepared! To find out which Pavilions do, read the Travel Guide.
Some Pavilions feature children's activities to keep your little one(s) entertained. Find out which ones on pages 12 and 29 in the Travel Guide.
Tickets for children 12 and under need to be booked online ahead of time. Even though they are free, tickets must be booked to secure entrance into a Pavilion.
Make sure a Pavilion is accessible (if this is something you require) before booking your tickets. Use the Travel Guide as your accessibility guide - find the amenities legend on pages 12 and 29.
If you require dietary accommodations, read the Pavilion listings in the Travel Guide to find out which Pavilions can accommodate your needs. Please note: Pavilions cannot guarantee an allergen-free zone. If you have allergies to food or environment, please use precautions before entering a Pavilion or ordering food/beverage.
Vickar Automotive Group Multi-Packs can only be purchased and redeemed online. Pavilions do not sell Multi-Packs at the door.
