We did it! We had our first live, hybrid worship service with a small (but mighty) crowd of congregants present, in person. Thank you to all who worshipped with us from home and all who participated in person!
Each Sunday in June we will increase our numbers for attendance in person on Sundays. We are still learning how to keep everyone as safe as possible in this process. Our hope is to be able to accommodate a full house by July. This depends on a few factors, such as Covid statistics locally, and the ability we have to utilize our space effectively and safely.
Thank you, everyone, for your patience and the grace that you are offering us in this process. I am very excited to be having live worship once again and I cannot wait to have everyone back together in person. I trust that we will meet that milestone soon.
In the meantime, please sign up to attend worship in person! Click the image at the top of this email and it will take you to the signup page. Select as many Sundays as you are available. We can’t promise you will get to attend every Sunday that you select. But we are doing our best to get as many people through the door as want to be there.
Please do not come if you haven’t made a reservation. The Covid-19 Response Team is reaching out to everyone who has made reservations, to let them know which Sundays are available. Please register and then look-out for an email or a phone call from the team!
I understand that not everyone is ready to gather in person yet. That is totally okay! If you aren’t ready to be at church in person, I hope that you will continue to worship with us from home. Of course, Rev. Craig and I are both available to provide spiritual support to you, whether you are attending in person or online. Please reach out if we can be helpful in giving you support.
Thank you for making our MCC Tampa family the wonderful community that it is! I wish you a blessed and safe Pride Month!
