The Program for Scientifically Inspired Leadership is taking a motivated team from Harvard College to India, to work with the most promising high school students in the state of Manipur. Harvard students will serve as teaching staff; conduct a variety of workshops, discussions and projects for over 100 high school students; and be an integral part of a civic-minded and evidence-based leadership development program.
Congratulations to our India Country Director, Dr Sanjay Kumar, who has announced the publication of his autobiography, chronicling his journey from a city in eastern Bihar to Harvard Kennedy School. In his current role with The Mittal Institute, Dr Kumar has been instrumental in the establishment of our Delhi HQ and the development of in-region programs across South Asia. 
In a paper published in Science Advances, based on an analysis of hourly wind data gathered between 1980 and 2016, a Harvard team reports a long-term decline in wind speeds over India, as a consequence of climate change.
