Seeing Every Body: Anatomical Diversity and Inclusive Sexual Healthcare

Nov. 5

2 p.m. ET/6 p.m. GMT

Sexual health is an essential component of holistic healthcare, yet many clinicians report limited training and discomfort when discussing sexual behaviors, practices and concerns with patients. This webinar is the second in a four-part Sexual Health Webinar Series sponsored by the Clinical Practice Committee.

Traditional anatomy education often presents a narrow or incomplete representation of genital anatomy, limiting clinicians’ ability to provide inclusive, affirming sexual healthcare. This webinar will examine why accurate and diverse anatomical representation matters and how gaps in education can affect clinical communication and patient care. Faculty will also discuss innovative educational models that reflect a broader spectrum of bodies, including transgender bodies and those affected by surgery or genital modification.
