Do you have an example of authentic community engagement or shifting power to the community?

We want to hear from you!

Human services leaders across the country are leaning in and making intentional and powerful shifts to authentically include the expertise of individuals with lived experience in their work, engage directly with community for input, expertise, and system design, and develop strategies to shift the lever of decision making in policy, practice, and investment decisions. The American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) and Social Current seek examples of such work to lift up how leaders and organizations are engaging in these efforts and outcomes that help address structural racism, advance equity, diversity, and inclusion, and authentically center the voice of the community to drive systems change.

Please share your innovations, stories, and lessons learned of community-driven efforts and partnerships by Friday, March 31.
