Greetings Ministry Partners,
Whenever we teach a seminar on God’s Financial Principles in Laos, we discuss practical steps such as budgeting, living within our means, and managing our income wisely. These habits are important, but keeping track of expenses and making difficult spending decisions can sometimes feel like a stressful chore.
Matthew 6:33 invites us to see these daily decisions as part of our relationship with God. Jesus calls us to seek His kingdom first, allowing our trust in Him to shape how we live and how we use what He has entrusted to us.
A budget helps us make thoughtful decisions about how we spend what we earn. Putting God first gives those decisions purpose. Together, they help us approach our finances with wisdom, gratitude, and faith.
Consider what happens when a paycheck arrives. If we spend it all on things we want, we may have little left for food, housing, or other necessities. Planning ahead helps us put our priorities into practice. In the same way, seeking God’s kingdom means giving Him first place in our hearts, our time, and our resources.
As we grow in this trust, managing money becomes an opportunity to honor God. We learn to plan wisely, give generously, and bring our worries to the One who knows our needs. Our confidence rests in His faithfulness.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and generous support of our ministry in Laos. Your partnership helps us share these biblical principles and encourage others to put their trust in God. Your generosity is a meaningful expression of the message we teach: placing God’s kingdom first and using what He has given us to serve others.
