Seeking Industry Leader for Synthe6 Advisory Role

Bounce Innovation Hub’s Synthe6 Materials Accelerator is seeking an Industry Advisor to help guide our pioneering work in advanced materials and polymer commercialization. This fractional role (20-30 hours per week) is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience in innovation, commercialization, and industry leadership.

The Industry Advisor will play a critical role in shaping the growth and success of startups in the Synthe6 Accelerator, providing insights, connections, and guidance that bridge cutting-edge science with real-world market opportunities.

As part of the 4-day conference, the Polymer Industry Cluster will facilitate a panel discussion on Tuesday, September 9 from 4:15-5:00 PM, focusing on the PIC’s unique value proposition and the rich opportunities for collaboration. We will also have a presence in the Startup Pavilion, where we look forward to building new connections, strengthen existing relationships, and attract innovative companies and startup opportunities to Akron and Northeast Ohio.

The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (APROMAC), the world’s second-largest producer of natural rubber, will also have a delegation in attendance. They’re interested in brief conversations with Northeast Ohio companies, particularly R&D, technology, and supply chain teams. Innovate to Accelerate: Polymer Cluster Connectivity Conference

A signature gathering of the Polymer Industry Cluster, this limited attendance event will highlight the bold progress and future-forward innovation through ongoing PIC projects and partnerships. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker John Warner, co-founder of the Institute of Green Chemistry, get an update on ongoing projects through a State of the Organization address and be able to participate in a science-fair-style Innovation Expo that will highlight cutting-edge developments and collaborative success stories from several of our member companies.
