Support the Princess Project
  
Starting February 1, The Princess Project, in partnership with the Burlingame Youth Advisory Committee, will be accepting new or gently used formal gowns and accessories for deserving young teens looking for a perfect prom dress. Dresses can be dropped off at the Recreation Center, beginning February 1 for the duration of the month. For more information, contact Nicole Rath at (650) 558-7308.

Valentines Dance for Active Adults (55+)
Thursday, February 9 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
at the Burlingame Recreation Center
 
Active Adults (age 55+) are invited to our Valentine's Dance on Thursday, February 9 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Recreation Center.  We will have a DJ, dance lessons, snacks, and refreshments.  This is a free event, but please RSVP to (650) 558-7300.  Thank you to our Burlingame Youth Advisory Committee for hosting this event.  We look forward to celebrating this enchanting holiday with you!

Enso String Quartet at Kohl Mansion
Sunday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m.

The Enso String Quartet will be performing at the Kohl Mansion for the first time.  This fabulous quartet was founded at Yale University in 1999 and based in New York City since 2007. The Enso String Quartet has distinguished itself as one of the top-rank American chamber ensembles performing today.  Winner of numerous awards including the Concert Artists Guild competition and Banff International String Quartet Competition, the quartet has been in residence at Rice University and Northern Illinois University. Enso enjoys a busy international touring and recording schedule, and also finds time to teach and mentor the next generation of musicians.
 
There is a Master Class at 5:00 p.m, in the library with the Young Chamber Musicians, followed by a Pre-Concert Talk by Kai Christiansen at 6:00 p.m. Call (650) 762-1130 or visit www.musicatkohl.org for tickets or information.
Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous
Meetings held weekly on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous, "FA", is a twelve step recovery program for people who suffer from food obsession, overeating, bulimia and under-eating. Everyone is welcome at meetings, including those who think they may have a food problem or those who are concerned about someone who may.
