First performances in more than two years!



The Joyful Chorus steps out

After two years of virtual rehearsals, the Joyful Chorus was finally able to perform together in person in May at Ruth Banta's retirement party at Look Park.

The chorus lived up to its name and brought their lively and unstoppable spirit to the gathering.

What would happen if the Avengers visited Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory?

That was the question that started the latest production of the theater class, which also got its turn in the spotlight with their late-May workshop performance of their original show, WonkAvengers. 

Director Susanna Apgar worked with the performers to collaborate on the show. " I didn’t know what would happen when I asked these actors to become writers. I basically asked them to go from walking to running and, of course, they absolutely FLEW. "
