HOA Annual Election and Board Meeting,
Tuesday, June 9 at 7:30 PM

Due to COVID-19 social distancing recommendations, the election ballot process will be done electronically.

Your Lot has one vote per the covenants and your vote is private. Your Annual HOA Letter contains your PIN. Save this page.  Your PIN number is needed to vote whether you choose to participate online or in person. To keep voting anonymous, we will only keep a record of the PIN numbers.

The link to vote will be in the newsletter and on the front page of the website on Tuesday, June 9th. The Ballot will go "live" after the candidates have completed their statements and will be accessible for 15 minutes.

For those that choose to vote in person, we will have a reservation process to ensure proper social distancing in the clubhouse. The reservation form is available here:

If you are interested in running for a position on the Board, please complete and submit the candidate profile available here:

We look forward to your participation!
Community Entrance,
´╗┐Two Lanes Open 7 AM -11 PM
Beginning Friday, May 29 at 7 AM, the community entrance will have two lanes open. As always, we expect visitors to enter the lane closest to the guard house and stop to check in with our safety officers. Residents may enter in the right-hand lane and continue into the neighborhood. We hope this helps to alleviate any delays or congestion at the community entrance.

The "resident only" lane will be closed 11 PM through 7 AM each night. Please slow down to allow the safety officer to see your Seis Lagos windshield sticker as he/she waves you through. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
Community Pool Reminders and Update
We are so glad that our residents are able to utilize the pool area. As you know, there are a number of specific restrictions in place at this time due to the Governor's guidelines. Here are some important reminders regarding the safe use of the facilities:

  • Swimming and use of the pool area are at your own risk. Children under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
  • The pool is restricted to community residents and their guests. Only 2 guests allowed per resident.
  • Due to public health guidelines issued by the Governora maximum of 12 people may be in the main pool at one time. A maximum of 5 people may be in the lap pool.
  • A limited number of chairs will be available for use. Please maintain safe distancing.
  • Please sanitize chairs and tables at the beginning and end of your visit. Please bring and use your own disinfectant.
  • The restroom is now available to pool visitors. Please sanitize the facilities before and after use.
  • Please follow this link to see additional pool rules listed on our SeisLagos.org website.

With the current restrictions in place, visits to the pool will look and feel different than usual. Please help your children understand the new restrictions, be considerate of your neighbors by sharing the pool area appropriately, and support our lifeguards by showing them respect. Our lifeguard team is comprised of teenagers and young adults who are committed to helping out in our community. The restrictions are new for them as well, and it may take a little time for them to feel comfortable with "enforcement". They will sincerely appreciate your support and compliance. Thank you for your help with keeping everyone safe and healthy.

We anticipate  lifeguard hours  to follow a consistent schedule.
For the last week in May (May 26 - 31):
  • Weekdays 2 pm -10 pm
  • Weekends 10 am - 10 pm
Beginning June 1:
  • Daily 10 am - 10 pm

Guidelines regarding pool use may be updated in the coming weeks. We are actively monitoring the evolving guidelines from the Governor. Questions and concerns may be directed to the HOA Manager and/or Guard House. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Little Free Library, Project Opportunity
We would like join the world's largest book-sharing movement and install a Little Free Library near the clubhouse this summer. The shared library will be stocked with donated books, and Seis Lagos residents can stop by to select books to read as well as drop off donations. We hope to serve readers of all ages and circulate many books throughout our community.

While there are boxes offered for sale on the website, the shipping is quite costly. We hope to find a community member who may enjoy this kind of project and is willing to build the box for us. This could be a great project for a teenager interested in earning service hours! The HOA Board will provide materials for the construction of the box and post for mounting. There are many options for building plans available online here: https://littlefreelibrary.org/build/

If you are interested or know someone who may be, please reach out to Jamie Hinkel in the HOA Office.
Your Questions, Concerns, and Ideas are valuable!
The HOA Board and Manager try to communicate frequently with our community through email newsletters. However, we realize that you may have questions or concerns that may not be addressed in these updates. Please share your feedback with Jamie Hinkel, HOA Manager, by phone, email, or a visit to the office with a mask and social distancing in mind. Jamie is able to respond to the majority of inquiries very efficiently. However, in the event she may not have the appropriate information, Jamie reaches out to the Board before providing a response.

We are always appreciative of your ideas and suggestions and take them into consideration. We've enjoyed increased resident participation by Zoom in our recent meetings and look forward to the continued use of this tool in the future. However, we do not want to exclude any community members who may have limited access or are less tech-savvy. If you are aware of a neighbor who may not be able to participate via digital tools, please help us brainstorm ways to keep them in the loop. We value all of our residents and their community participation.

Thank you for your help!
