Another show we'll be doing soon is in Portland, Maine on April 2-4. The Center for the Preservation of Wall Paintings is having its first symposium for the practitioners in the care and conservation of painted walls. We will have our bookselling booth in the lecture hall. We're really excited about this one, and hope you can attend. Info: https://www.pwpcenter.org/symposium

Recently, I tried to buy a book from Sweden in order to offer it in a future newsletter, but the dealer was reluctant to send it overseas. Determined to buy it, I contacted a cousin in Sweden to buy it for me, and mail it to the United States. We truly try everything in our power to bring you unusual books from around the world!

This month's offerings feature many sales samples of building materials, a great variety of trade catalogs, and many other interesting titles.

Happy browsing!               Steven

London: Thomas Kelly, 1837. Early Edition. Small quarto, pp. viii, 232, with over 45 full page plates and b/w illustrations. Four fold-out illustrations, complete and with only minor edgewear wrinkling. Book plate for Charles Spackman, Rosehaugh, Clitheroe attached inside front cover.
