For anyone not familiar with MWT Cymru, we are the tourism trade body for Powys, Ceredigion and Meirionnydd, representing over 600 tourism businesses throughout the region, and throughout the whole of Wales.
We are aware from MWT members that some self catering businesses have experienced problems accessing Covid business rate grant support from their Local Authority.
We have been lobbying hard on this issue, and to get a broader picture of the situation across Wales, we are now asking all self catering businesses, (including anyone who is not currently a member of MWT Cymru), to complete a short survey.
This will give us a better understanding about your experience and assist us to build a more accurate picture. It will also help us to continue championing and representing the interests of our members and the wider tourism industry to Local Authorities and The Welsh Government.
