The self-defense class is family-friendly and will be taught by Jon Touchton from Paladin Karate, a retired veteran cop with 3 black-belts and lots of experience.
It will cover real-life and practical self-defense responses and techniques for all ages, going over things that can be used by any age group, but also cover those things specific for certain demographics (eg, women, kids, men, college-kids, etc.).
There will be informative lectures with plenty of hands-on opportunities to have some fun with learning the moves and defenses that are most often effective (no spin-hooks kicks!) and doable by nearly everyone. Simply being in the class will put the attendees above the average person in knowing how to handle a threat, since keeping it simple is the key.
100% of class registration fees will be donated to the HEAT Big Dream Project!!!
