Thank You to Our Pro-Bono Landlord Tenant Team

Thank you to Attorney Karl Burgunder, Attorney Tobe Lev, Attorney Zahara Manekia, Attorney Jonathan Paul, Attorney Mandy Pavlakos, and Attorney Jack Taylor for their continued support and assistance with our private landlord tenant legal advice program. These fantastic attorneys have used their legal talents to help many Seminole County residents with various maintenance issues, security deposit disputes, and non-renewal of lease notices. We are grateful for your dedication to our pro-bono program.

Veterans Free Legal Advice Clinic

We would like to thank Judge Carmine Bravo, Attorney Eric Boughman, Attorney Christopher Butler, Attorney Karen Estry and Attorney Sherry Lambson-Eisele who join us each month for our Veterans Legal Advice clinic and extend a special thanks to Holland and Knight for the generous donation to our clinic.


At our Veterans Free Legal Advice clinic, speak with our experienced volunteer and staff attorneys about your legal issue. Come see us at the Central Library from 1:00-4:00pm, May 18th. No registration is required, we just ask that you check in before 3:00pm. If you are unable to attend this month, don't worry, we will be back every third Thursday of the month.

Legal Advice Clinic at Seminole State College

As a college student, there are already so many important things pressing on your mind like exam due dates, homework assignments, and juggling your personal responsibilities, the last thing you should have to worry about is an eviction or time-sharing issues. Our staff attorneys will be on campus every second and fourth Thursday of the month from 9:00am-12:00pm in order to help student address any legal concerns they have that may be affecting their ability to focus on graduation.

Sealing and Expungement Workshop

Our sealing and expungement workshop takes place both virtually and in-person. We are so grateful to volunteer Attorney Erin Greene who presents at ProjectRise each month and Attorney Andrew Chmelir who presents at the Sanford Library and online.


Don't let that arrest on your record prevent you from getting the job of your dreams. In partnership with Goodwill Industries, our office holds a workshop to learn from our experienced volunteer attorneys how to seal or expunge your record. This workshop takes place every first Wednesday of the month in-person at the Sanford Library and virtually every third Wednesday of the month via Zoom.


You may qualify if you had:

  • Adjudication withheld or charges dropped
  • AND never previously sealed or expunged your record

Meet Our Summer Interns

Gabriel Grillon


Gabriel "Gabi" Grillon is originally from Orlando, Florida and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to play basketball at Lipscomb University where she graduated with a B.A. in Law, Justice, and Society and a minor in psychology. She has two dogs whom she adores. Gabriel is currently a part-time rising 3L at Barry University School of Law and the Research and Technical Editor of Barry Law Review as well as a Research Assistant.

Zachary Begey


Zachary Begey is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science/Pre-Law at the University of Central Florida. He is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and the Knights Pre-Law Association. He will be graduating in 2024 and hopes to attend law school. A native Floridian, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and traveling. He is excited to join Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society to gain practical experience in the legal field and to serve local residents.

Glory Emmanuel


Glory Emmanuel is in the final year of Barry law school. One of the areas of law she is most interested in is family law. She previously served as a VAC for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association which she considered an eye opening and highly educative experience. Glory is excited to further her education through her externship with the Seminole County Legal Aid Society. She believes this experience will be impactful an further prepare her to become an attorney in the near future.
